GWK Cultural Park is all set to host Bali’s grandest fireworks extravaganza to ring in the 2024 New Year’s Eve on 31 December 2023. This spectacular showcase will be accompanied by an array of concerts featuring renowned Indonesian musicians, including Dewa 19, Isyana Sarasvati, Gigi Band, Christian Novelli, Sam Laxton DJ, and more.
Dubbed GWK Bali Countdown 2024 – Sound of Soulz, this concert series will take place from 29 to 31 December 2023, within the Festival Park premises. Stefanus Yonathan Astayasa, the Operational Director of GWK Cultural Park, anticipates that this fireworks display and concert event will significantly impact Bali’s tourism industry as the year draws to a close.

The upcoming New Year’s celebration at GWK Cultural Park will feature a dazzling display of 8,888 fireworks, serving as the highlight of the event. Upon investigation, it was revealed that this magnificent fireworks showcase cost over IDR 1 billion.
Stefanus Yonathan Astayasa mentioned, “This year, we’re setting off 8,888 fireworks for 5 minutes. We consider this number as a symbol of infinite luck, as the number 8 signifies endless possibilities.”
Reports indicate that over 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the event, with a target of reaching 20,000 as the celebration draws nearer. Here’s the latest information regarding ticket prices for the New Year’s festivities at GWK Cultural Park:
