Bali Police Found an Unconscious Russian Citizen Inside His Car in Kuta

A Russian citizen was found unconscious in a parked car on Jalan Pratama Raya, Benoa Village, South Kuta, Badung, Bali, on Thursday, 10th of August, 2023. The drunk Russian citizen was then taken into custody by the Banjar Police, South Kuta Sector Police Aiptu I Ketut Artana.

Artana revealed that the Russian citizen often gets drunk until morning. Residents in the South Kuta area initially reported this information.

“The Russian is sleeping. Possibly due to drunkenness,” said Artana in a written statement received by a local news outlet on Thursday, 10th August 2023.

Artana and the Bali police immediately checked the condition of the tourist. After that, The Bali Police took him and the car he was driving to the South Kuta Police.

South Kuta Police Chief Commissioner I Nyoman Karang Adiputra confirmed that the Russian citizen had been taken into custody. According to Adiputra, the Russian citizen only spent 30 minutes at the South Kuta Police and left immediately.

“That’s right. Based on reports from the local community, our Banjar Police officers went to the location of the Russian citizen who was unconscious in the car. Residents said they were worried about the condition of the Russian tourist, who was unconscious in his car. After being checked by the police, it turned out that the Russian was only drunk because of too much alcohol,” explained Adiputra.

According to Adiputra, the identity of the Russian citizen, whose identity is unknown, was taken into custody to prevent unwanted things from happening since he was drunk and still under the influence.

“We have offered him to rest for a while at the South Kuta police station, but he refused and left immediately,” said Adiputra.
