The criminal investigation unit of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Police arrested an Indian woman with the initials KSA (44). The Indian woman was arrested for stealing a tosca green-coloured Bally  laptop bag worth IDR 8 million, or around USD 500, at the PT DI shop at the International Departure Terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport around 11.00 WITA, Wednesday, 28th of June 2023.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit Iptu Rionson Ritonga revealed that initially, the bag was found missing when a PT DI employee named Affry DR was in the fashion boutique area at around 11.30 WITA, realising the bag that was initially on display had suddenly disappeared.

“After realising that the item was missing, this employee together with the CCTV operator in the PT DI shop checked the store’s CCTV, from the footage it appears that an Indian woman took the missing item without the shopkeeper’s knowledge and did not make a payment at the cashier,” said Ritonga, in a written statement on Sunday, 2nd of July 2023.
