Seirock-Ya: An Authentic Halal Ramen

Share:

Who loves to eat ramen and has ever eaten authentic Japanese ramen? I know, that eating authentic Japanese ramen makes our taste buds set a high standard for other ramen. But worry not, Seirock-Ya is the right place if you want to taste genuine Japanese Ramen.

Their store in Indonesia was established for all Indonesian since they really want Indonesian to eat authentic Japanese Ramen. If you’re Muslim and kinda afraid to eat ramen due to their broth which is mostly made from pork, Seirock-Ya is served HALAL ramen at its finest! This restaurant faithfully reproduces the taste same as ramen in Japan.

Honestly, Seirock-Ya has always been my favourite for ramen. Their noodle and broth are scrumptious, rich, and hard to resist! Their menu is very varied, ranging from soup ramen, dry ramen, karaage, rice bowls, and several other choices of appetizers. But, my go-to menu in this place is their Toripaitan Shoyu Ramen and Toripaitan Shio Ramen. For the appetizer, I always go for their grilled gyoza completed with their cold ocha, the best choice for a beverage since their ramen is so creamy.

The Toripaitan Shoyu Ramen gravy is creamy with the right and savoury broth taste. I chose small, straight noodles for this menu. The chicken pieces are wide and juicy, but somehow, it’s quite tasteless. However, it’s really good since the gravy is quite heavy, so you need a lighter condiment.

For the Toripaitan Shio Ramen, you will find a white, milky, super creamy gravy inside your bowl. I called this a bowl of heaven since the taste is definitely heavenly! The egg is amazing too and brings an extra kick to the noodle.

Then there’s the grilled gyoza which is also a winner! The ginger and chicken flavours are very distinctive, plus the garlic makes this gyoza really similar to the gyoza usually served in authentic Japanese restaurants.

What makes me like this restaurant is that the portions are just right for a single meal. It makes you full without making you feel drowsy. Their ocha is free to refill, plus the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Please note that this place is very crowded and has many visitors. Don’t come during lunch or dinner or you have to deal with a long queue!

Check their website for more information about their stores!
