The minister stated that “Citayam Fashion Week,” a fashion show spontaneously produced by the youth gathering at Dukuh Atas, might be a way to promote fashion trends and tourism due to its distinctiveness and popularity.

Uno expressed confidence that the youth from the “SCBD” regions, who are well-known in the suburbs, may serve as influencers to assist market the goods produced by micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

He claimed that the uniqueness and potential for fashion trendsetters make it increasingly interesting. He added that the ministry has also provided scholarships for young people who are leading initiatives that benefit the growth of the tourist and creative industries.

Uno clarified that in addition to scholarships, the ministry also gives young people chances to learn about the creation of original content that will increase their popularity.
