4 Passengers Died in A Car Set Ablaze in Subang

July 11, 2022 – A pick-up truck is on fire at Subang, four passengers died in the accident. The exact location for this accident is at Jembatan Cipunagara, Kecamatan Pamanukan, Subang, West Java on Monday. According to Detik, it happened around 2 AM.

Budiyanto, a member of the Pamanukan district firefighter, said that the pick-up truck went from Jakarta to Cirebon. When they arrived at the scene, the car is already on fire.

“Extinguishing the fire took about 15 minutes, we encounter no troubles at all in the process,” Budiyanto said.

Because of the accident, four people died in this accident while the other three are injured.

“There are four people who died in the accident. Two sat in the passenger and driver’s seats and the other two sat in the backseat. The other three are alive however, they are injured,” he added.

All of the victims, both the deceased and alive, are brought to the Rumah Sakit Pamanukan Medical Centre. As of now, the accident is still under investigation by the police from Polres Subang.

A similar accident happened on Saturday

Another car accident resulting in one death happened not too long ago too. An angkot was caught on fire at Kampung Cikupa, Desa Cirangkong, Kecamatan Cijambe, Subang, West Java on Saturday (25/6) at 11 AM. The car suddenly lights up on fire when it’s picking up passengers in front of Banjarsari Elementary School at Cirangkong.

A passerby, Ade Rahmat, there is one person who died on fire inside the angkot. Apparently, it’s a woman named Mae, aged 45.

“It’s a woman from this area (Cikupa) who was burnt to death inside the angkot,” said Ade.

According to Ade, the fire spreads fairly quickly, resulting in one woman being trapped inside and burned to death. During the accident, a couple of explosions were heard from the angkot too.

“The fire spreads really quickly throughout the angkot,” said Ade.
