A murder case with a motive for robbery in Sanur, Bali, has begun to unfold. The police arrested two Indian citizens who were suspected of being the perpetrators. The two perpetrators, with the initials AS (21) and GS (24), were arrested at Ngurah Rai Airport.

“It is true that two Indian nationals were arrested at Ngurah Rai Airport. They were suspected of being involved in a case of murder and persecution which resulted in the death and serious injury to a resident from Jakarta,” said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Iptu Regional Police Rionson Ritonga, Sunday, 14th of May 2023

“Both plans to fly to Singapore to not get caught”, Ritonga added.

Ritonga explained that AG and GS were arrested at the international departure terminal on Saturday, 13th of May 2023, around 19.00 WITA. They were arrested after the police received information from the immigration authorities that the two Indian citizens would fly to Singapore using Singapore Airlines SQ 947. The police had been working with immigration to ban AS and GS from leaving Indonesia under any circumstances.
