Frozen-Themed Police Service Post in Indonesia

Frozen-Themed Police Service Post in Indonesia Goes Viral Ahead of the Holiday Season

Share:

The Jombang Police Department has transformed one of its Christmas and New Year service posts into a Frozen-themed installation, drawing public attention during the 2025–2026 year-end holiday period.

The post is located on the eastern side of Jombang Station, East Java, Indonesia.

The themed post was introduced as part of police operations to secure Christmas and New Year activities. Unlike standard service posts, the structure was redesigned to resemble an ice castle inspired by the animated film Frozen.

The initiative quickly attracted residents and travellers passing through the area.

According to local police, the concept was intended to present a friendly and approachable image while maintaining its function as a security and public service centre.

The post operates along a main traffic route near the station, an area that often experiences increased movement during the holiday season.

Ice Castle Design Becomes Public Photo Spot

The service post features a dominant light blue and white colour scheme. Its exterior includes castle-style towers, a gate designed to resemble ice formations, and snow-themed ornaments.

Cut-crystal decorations and silhouettes of snow-covered mountains add to the visual effect.

At the front of the building, figures associated with the Frozen animation can be seen, reinforcing the child-friendly concept. A signboard at the top of the structure reads “Jombang Police Christmas and New Year 2026 Operation Service Post”, clearly identifying its official function.

While the design attracts attention, the post continues to function as a security and service centre. Police officers remain on duty to assist the public, manage traffic flow, and respond to incidents in the surrounding area.

Police Say Theme Supports Community Engagement

Jombang Police Chief AKBP Ardi Kurniawan said the Frozen theme was chosen to help bring the National Police closer to the community, especially children. He said the service posts are positioned in strategic locations during the holiday period.

“These service and security posts are located in areas prone to traffic congestion and close to churches,” Ardi said on Monday, 22 December, as quoted by Kumparan.

He explained that the themed post also provides practical facilities for travellers. Officers at the site offer rest areas, free coffee, free drinks, free massage chairs, and a children’s play area.

According to Ardi, the facilities are available to anyone travelling during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“Starting from rest breaks, free coffee, free drinks, free massages, children’s play areas; for people on Christmas and New Year holidays, we invite the public to make the most of this place,” he said.
