At the heart of Bali Farm House is its collection of friendly farm and exotic animals. The most popular residents are the alpacas, originally from the Andes mountains in South America. Their calm and gentle nature makes them a favourite for children and adults alike. Visitors can feed them directly, supervised by the farm’s caretakers.
Alongside the alpacas, visitors can also meet donkeys from Australia, small ponies from the Shetland Islands in Scotland, and elegant ostriches. These animals have adapted well to the cool climate of Bedugul, living in spacious and clean enclosures that replicate their natural habitats.
There is also a dedicated corner for smaller animals such as rabbits, which are especially popular with younger children. Children can gently stroke and feed them, helping to build a sense of care and respect for animals.
Each animal interaction is guided by trained staff who provide background information, making it an educational as well as an enjoyable experience.
Playground and Outdoor Adventures
To complement the animal encounters, Bali Farm House has built a large playground area that blends seamlessly with the natural landscape. There are 16 types of play structures, including wooden towers, bridges, spider nets, and swings.
The entire play area is designed with safety in mind. Wood chips cover the ground to soften falls, reduce weed growth, and enrich the soil over time.
The playground caters to various age groups, offering challenges that help develop children’s motor skills while keeping them learning sustainable practices through interactive activities.
Farm-to-Table Dining and Facilities

While the main draw is its animals and outdoor spaces, Bali Farm House also embraces a farm-to-table approach in its café and barn restaurant area. Ingredients are locally sourced from nearby farms in the Bedugul region, known for its fertile soil and fresh produce.
Visitors can enjoy simple yet hearty meals, fresh fruit juices, and locally roasted coffee while overlooking the scenic grounds. The restaurant’s architecture reflects the same rustic aesthetic as the rest of the farm, with wooden interiors and large windows opening onto mountain views.
The site is also equipped with complete facilities, including clean toilets, prayer rooms, souvenir shops, and ample parking spaces, ensuring a comfortable visit for families.
