The internationally renowned K-pop group 2NE1 has been officially announced as the headline act for the upcoming Waterbomb Bali 2025 festival.

The event, which blends live music performances with a water-themed atmosphere, will be held on 6–7 September 2025 at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park in Bali.

This marks 2NE1’s return to Indonesia following their “Welcome Back” concert at Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta, on 23 November 2024. Comprising CL, Dara, Minzy, and Park Bom, the group will take to the stage on the second day of the festival, 7 September 2025.

The confirmation was announced via the festival’s official Instagram account @waterbomb_bali_official, stating:

“2NE1. The legend unfolds in BALI. WATERBOMB BALI 2025. 1st LINEUP REVEAL: 2NE1. The legends return to BALI.”

This announcement followed a year of uncertainty after Waterbomb Jakarta 2024 was postponed. In contrast, the Bali edition is now confirmed to proceed, with additional line-up announcements expected in the coming weeks.

WAAO Entertainment, the organiser behind the event, described Waterbomb Bali as a celebration of resilience and artistic spirit. The festival is designed to offer fans a unique combination of water-based festivities and live K-pop performances in one of the world’s most scenic destinations.

Jaihyun Park, CEO of WAAO Entertainment, stated:

“We are proud to be able to overcome challenges and present this festival. WATERBOMB BALI 2025 is a manifestation of our spirit to continue working, even though we have faced difficulties.”
