Attention to SM Stans nationwide: Jakarta will host SMTOWN LIVE 2023!
SM Entertainment announced on the 26th of July that SMTOWN LIVE 2023 will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the 23rd of September 2023 via their official social media platforms.
As 2023 is a significant year celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Indonesia, the concert will highlight the importance of peace between the two nations and act as a focal point for ongoing cultural exchanges.
“Jakarta has finally been selected as the host of the 2023 ‘SMTOWN LIVE’ after 11 years since this concert was last held,” said Dyandra Global, the promoter, on Wednesday, 26th of July 2023.
The forthcoming SM Entertainment concert SMTOWN Live 2023: SMCU Palace will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the 23rd of September. The event will be co-sponsored by KB Bank.
Various SM Entertainment groups will be in this SM family concert. TVXQ, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and aespa are among those who will perform at this concert.
In addition, SM Entertainment will debut its male K-pop group at this big family performance for the first time.
Each group will perform their songs during this concert. Through the show SMTOWN LIVE 2023, audiences may also look forward to the collaboration between SM artists.
From year to year, this concert is one of the actively conducted brand performance events. Their last performance was in Tokyo Dome in front of more than 150,000 people over three days.
Furthermore, the promoter has not released any information about seat plans, categories, or concert ticket prices.
Prospective ticket holders have two options for purchasing tickets. Pre-sale will begin on the 9th of August 2023 at 2 p.m. WIB via the website www.smtownjakarta.com for Bank KB Bukopin credit card holders.
Meanwhile, the general public pre-sale for SMTOWN LIVE 2023 will be conducted using the same website on the 11th of August 2023 at 2 p.m. WIB.
