Frequently Asked Question

At APRIL, we believe you should only have to pay for what you need, and nothing else. Customising your plan only takes a few steps to meet your healthcare needs and budget.

Our Hospital & Surgery module will form the basis of your plan to which you can add optional Outpatient, Maternity and Dental/Optical modules. For each module, you can choose from 4 levels of cover: Core, Essential, Extensive and Elite (except Maternity where the Core level is not available). You can further personalise your cover by selecting your area of cover and discount options. With MyHEALTH, each family member can have different modules and levels of coverage. Emergency assistance and repatriation is included in all plans.

With MyHEALTH Indonesia, you have 3 areas of cover to choose from: Worldwide, Worldwide excluding USA or ASEAN excluding Singapore. You will enjoy the same level of coverage and benefits in your area of coverage whether you are in Indonesia or travelling abroad as well as 30 days coverage for accidents and emergencies outside of your area of cover.

MyHEALTH also has portability options so you can take your policy with you if you move to most countries in the world.

Absolutely, if you already benefit from a local or company-provided health insurance plan, you can purchase MyHEALTH to help provide more complete coverage. You can opt for a Hospital & Surgery cover with a deductible (any payments made by your local or company health plan count towards your deductible), as well as optional benefits, such as Outpatient or Dental/Optical.

What does this mean for you? In case of hospitalisation, your local plan will cover you up to its limit, and APRIL will cover the remainder (up to your annual limit, too). Depending on the modules you choose, your MyHEALTH plan can also provide additional benefits that would not be covered by your local plan.

We offer Full Medical Underwriting (FMU) for MyHEALTH Indonesia.

With FMU, you will have to complete a medical questionnaire as part of your application. An offer will then be made to you based on your health declaration.
