The Main Director of Jimbaran Hijau in Bali, Putu Agung Prianta, built a Natadesa resort complex in the Jimbaran area, South Kuta, Badung which was intended to help the government create quality tourism.
“We often hear that local governments want to create quality tourism in Bali, and this is our contribution, and it is also about creating a quality tourism destination. Natadesa may also be the first to receive Greenship Neighborhood certification with a Platinum rating in Indonesia” said Agung Prianta.
At the opening of Natadesa Resort Residence, which consists of 20 housing units, Agung Prianta has focused on the eco-friendly and sustainable that he brings, such as establishing property access that opens winding roads rather than destroying trees to clear roads.
Agung Prianta said Natadesa wants to introduce Jimbaran as a new type of tourism destination in South Bali to live, work, play, and study.
Jimbaran Village Head, I Wayang Kardiana, who also attended the dedication ceremony of Jimbaran Hijau’s Natadesa, expressed his appreciation that the resort complex will be able to elevate Jimbaran’s name in the future.
“We, the people of Jimbaran, hope that Natadesa, Pak Agung, in Bali is famous for the Tri Hita Karana concept of relationship with God so that it is by the sacredness here, the concept of relationship to the environment so that it does not damage the environment,” he said.
Furthermore, regarding the concept of relationships with fellow humans, Kaldiasana hopes that Natadesa can improve the well-being of humanity, especially the inhabitants of Jimbaran.

Quality Tourism
In quality tourism, managers do not focus on finding ways to attract as many tourists as possible (mass tourism), but on impressing tourists and spending a lot of time in these places.
Quality tourism starts with tourists, not the purchasing power of choice and taste. They want to find vacation experiences based on individual choices and preferences driven by tourist destinations and quality tourists with many factors such as tastes, hobbies, intentions, and vacation destinations.
Quality tourism has four indicators; tourist satisfaction, tourism industry satisfaction, improved quality of life in local communities, and improved environmental quality.
These indicators are consistent with a community-based approach to tourism development, or a concept better known as Community-Based Tourism (CBT).
The concept is a development tool to strengthen the capacity of rural communities to manage tourism resources while emphasizing the empowerment of local communities in the five dimensions; economic, social, cultural, political, and environmental.
