In a separate development, Waterbomb Jakarta 2024, a much-anticipated festival featuring several South Korean artists, has been officially postponed.

The announcement was made via the organisers’ official Instagram account, @waterbomb_official_jakarta. While specific details were not disclosed, the postponement was attributed to “unforeseen circumstances”.

“We extend our gratitude for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm for Waterbomb Jakarta 2024,” the statement read. “Regrettably, because of unforeseen circumstances, we must announce the postponement of the event. Your safety and delivering a high-quality experience remain our top priorities. We deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused and assure you we will return stronger with the experience you’ve been waiting for at Waterbomb 2025.”

Ticket holders have been assured of a full refund, including taxes and platform fees, and access to a dedicated refund form from the organizers.
