Formula E Car Replica Displayed at HI Starting Sunday

Starting Sunday, the 26th of March 2023, a replica of the Formula E electric racing car will be on display at the HI Roundabout in Jakarta. This exhibition was held in order to welcome the Formula E event which was held again in Jakarta this year.

Following the success of last year’s Formula E race in Jakarta on the 4th of June, the world’s biggest electric grand prix is set to return on the 3rd and 4th of June, 2023.

As previously reported, Bambang Soesatyo, Chairman of the Jakarta Formula E Steering Committee, stated that the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 would be different from the previous year’s race.

Previously, the race could only be held in one series or on one day, but this year Jakarta was given the opportunity to host two Formula E series over two days.

“The difference is that last year, previously led by Mr Ahmad Syahroni, there was one series, now there are two series, which are two days,” Bamsoet said at a press conference on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Ancol Beach City in Jakarta.

Furthermore, Bamsoet hopes that the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 event will be a good host, serve well, and be enjoyable.

The chairman of the MPR RI is also optimistic that this year’s Jakarta E-Prix will be better than last year’s, owing to his previous experience with it.

According to Bamsoet, the promotion of the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 must be maximised in accordance with the directives of President Joko Widodo, also known as Jokowi.

“The promotion for the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 must be maximised, including making the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 not only a sporting event but also a driver of economic growth,” Bamsoet said after a Jakarta E-Prix 2023 preparatory meeting.
